As we touched down the exclusive island, to play golf, I noticed that all over the island, all over the yatchs, lounges, and offices was a slogan… “Do you know what time it is ?”
I thought it was the golf games, maybe it was sponsored by the likes of Rolex, Audemars, Patek Phillippe, Hublot, Cartier et al , so they wore shirts on time. But it wasn’t.
So during dinner, I asked the chef why they had the slogan written all over their walls and he said, “Do you know what time it is?”, it means you should always watch the time, be conscious of it. Successful people first learn to manage time.”, even before money. Don’t just end at being a time manager, be a priority manager, know the difference between urgent and important. It is urgent doesn’t mean that it is important, it is important doesn’t mean that it is urgent.
I am wiring this because I am personally going through a phase.
Life has a way of distracting you from a vision and even success, simply by keeping you busy. B.U.S.Y as an acronym can mean Being Under Satan’s Yoke. It’s a decoy!
We increased our Masterclass fee by almost a 100 percent in this new year and in a recession to make a point on power or a brand over mass commodity. It is to cater for people who really understand value, to give more and to be more exclusive with our business club that we owe a community to grow with . So far, the response has been amazing that we have to limit slots. and to pay more attention to that echelon and our clients who always come first.
These days, I’ve picked up enemies by not picking calls exactly when it rings. I will return it when I am done. Please bear with me. If it’s very important or an emergency, you can reach my colleagues or send a text. I don’t rant except if I planned to. If my family understand this, then please remind me your role again. It’s the harsh part of discipline , else in trying to please everyone, you’ll displease your purpose, for now let your value climb up my schedule. A wise successful man once told me that no one is ever that busy, it just depends on what number you are on their priority list.
Focus and aptness is everything.

The years will always reveal what the days could not teach..
“DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS…”
Those words stuck to me all through my stay at NLNG a Bonny.. while leaving, at the breakfast table, the chef still said it, always remember our slogan here. Just learn to convert your days to hours and minutes, then you will realise you have started a time management exercise that can change your life and effectiveness”.
Hmmm… So I’m asking you, “Do you know what time it is?”
