Victor Anazonwu is a journalist, advertising executive, trainer and author. He is currently Lead Partner at The Elipses Ideation Company (TEIC).
He began his career as a newspaper reporter and feature writer, rising to become editor of a national newspaper. He subsequently switched to advertising where he rose to the position of Executive Director, Business Development & strategy at STB McCann, Lagos. He left that role to co-found TEIC, a firm of brand management, content creation, publishing and training consultants.
A consummate communication professional, he is a regular writer on public affairs for newspapers and other publications including The Guardian, The Punch, Qwenu and The Yes Magazine among several others. He has also served as visiting faculty in Writing & Branding at two Nigerian universities and a number of professional academies. His training and speaking engagements have taken him around Africa and beyond.
He is the author of three books, What Everyone should know about Nigerian History, Politics and Government (2017), Moses, Solomon and the Rest of Us (2018) and The 8 Habits of Highly Ineffective People (2019). He has co-authored and edited several other published titles.
He is a three-time graduate of University of Nigeria, Nsukka, from which he holds a Bachelor’s degree in History, a Master’s degree in Mass Communication and an MBA majoring in Marketing.
