Sometimes, all it takes to wake from a long slumber is the right kind of motivation. Some motivation lasts for only a day, while some will make you realize you don’t have all day. It’s time to get your act together and draw a plan.
You have to find that motivation for yourself and feed it on it so much that it becomes a natural extension – a drive that push you out of bed before dawn and send you to the streets. For some, it’s that moment when they realize they might just have a daughter they do not know off, or a dependent family.
I spoke with an elderly guy not so long ago, and we had this talk. You know those talks that make you realize that life is not exactly as it is described on paper. Truth is, there are no straight route to success. Anyone can become successful in anything.
There are only rules and principles. Your job is to find out the difference, and constantly break the rules.
Sometimes, the only thing limiting you from your future are the rules you believe are true. Those BS you feed yourself every morning. Sometimes, those BS are what’s limiting you. Really, when you critically analyze it, the only way to success is hard work.
The human mind is an amazing work of art. It’s really crazy how much we can accomplish with our mind, and interestingly enough, it is crazy how much of a time bomb our mind can become to us.

Really, the enemy is not the fellow we see on the street. It is not even your environment, or the government. The enemy is the fellow you see staring back at you when you face a mirror. Sometimes, the enemy doesn’t always have horns, carry a pitchfork, and wear a mask.
It is not what you don’t have that limits you. Really, it is what you have but do not know how to use.
Like I said, sometimes the only way out is in. you have to take that hard soulful journey into you to discover what makes you different from everyone else.
When David was to fight Goliath, Saul (David’s king) was worried. He feared for David’s life because when compared to Goliath, David was really really small, but was he? Remember, it is not what you don’t have that limits you…
David eventually defeated Goliath, and proved to the world that it is what you have and know how to use that helps you win. David fought against a giant that had a spear and defeated him using a sling and a stone.
Sometimes, when we pray, we shouldn’t ask God for a big spear and shield. Sometimes, the sling and stone we currently have is really God’s gift we must use well.
Sometimes, the only way to succeed is to discover who you are, and to discover who you are is to go in.
