LAW 1- THE LAW OF PURPOSE
It says, “if you don’t know and define where you are going, then everywhere you get to would look like it. In business, you DEFINE, CHART AND STAY IN YOUR COURSE ”
Purpose is what you want to do. In an enterprise or team, purpose is also finding out what each member of your team is good at. And then putting them in the position that makes your work more productive and efficient while bringing out the best in them.
Whether in life or business, don’t judge a fish by its ability to fly and a bird by its ability to swim, instead use them by their right purpose (strengths).
Find out in a list…
1. What you do easily (for you it is easy to do, for someone else it is hard).
2. What you do that even if you are not paid you’d still do it.
3. What you get angry at if it is not done properly.
For example, the artiste P-square used to pay show organizers to perform on stage – PURPOSE (what you do even if you were not paid)
So how do you find your life’s purpose?
Here are the steps…
🔘Make a list of the things you do for fun, or that you really enjoy.
🔘Write down the names of people that you admire, and why you admire them.
🔘Make a list of the things you do naturally without even thinking about it. Think of the things you can do joyfully, even if you’re not paid to do them.
🔘Look at your Passion, Actions, and Genius lists, and spend 10 minutes each morning doing something from one of the lists.
🔘Look at ways to incorporate your Passions, Actions, and Genius more and more into your life.
